Nadiah is a lead researcher of The Big Sit. She recently graduated from The University of Chicago with a B.A rooted in interdisciplinary social sciences, particularly Psychology and Sociology. During her time in the Windy City, she was also a research assistant at a behavioural science laboratory where she explored how people make decisions and the nature of prosocial relationships. Her classes and observations of campus culture highlgihted to her the importance of mental health.
These experiences led her to join The Big Sit Team since its conception, developing the research aspect of the initative. She is inspired by how The Big Sit expands her understanding of how the intersection of the place, people and teacher cultivates a nuturing environment for mindfulness within urban life. She is currently on a scholarship where she is finishing her first year of her MBA degree at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
